Like A Small Island

I directed this short documentary born out of an audio interview about a young man's shared moment with a stranger on a 1961 New York City subway train. On a cardboard set, the moment is performed for the man fifty years later and he participates in an interpretation of his memory.

Here is the film as well as an audio-only version of the piece (below) that can be enjoyed like a podcast. Sound design by Marcello Dubaz.
